Eosinophilic pustular folliculitis
In 1965, Ise and Oto first reported the disease and suspected it to be a follicular type of subkeratosis. In 1970, Toto proposed a new name, called eosinophilic pustular folliculitis. By 1981, 50 cases had been reported in Japan.
