Nonfunctional pituitary adenoma
Most pituitary adenomas have high secretory function, which raises blood hormone levels and produces corresponding clinical symptoms. However, there are some pituitary adenomas that do not increase the level of blood hormones and have no symptoms of excessive hormones. They are called clinical nonfunctional pituitary adenomas, or nonfunctional pituitary adenomas. Adenoma (clinically inactive pituitary adenoma (CIPA), endocrineinactive adenoma or nonsecretory pituitary adenoma). Nonfunctional adenomas account for 25% to 30% of all pituitary adenomas.
