Pericardial metastases

Pericardial metastasis is the result of the metastasis of malignant tumors in other parts to the pericardium. It is one of the systemic manifestations of malignant tumors. Pericardial metastases are more common than primary pericardial tumors and cardiac metastases. Autopsy confirmed that 5% to 15% of patients with malignant tumors had pericardial involvement.
