Femoral aneurysm
The incidence of femoral aneurysm accounts for more than half of the peripheral aneurysms in China, ranking first. There are two types of true aneurysms and pseudoarteries. The former mostly occur in patients with atherosclerosis, and they are often combined with aneurysms in other parts of the body. The latter is common after trauma and infection. Clinically, acute ischemia of the distal limb can be caused by thrombosis in the aneurysm or thrombolysis of the distal artery, which often causes amputation. Therefore, active surgical treatment is very important.
