Pericardial cyst and pericardial diverticulum

Pericardial cyst refers to a congenital mediastinal cyst that occurs in the pericardium, also known as mesothelial cyst, parapericardial cyst, pleural pericardial cyst, mediastinal hydrocyst, or simple mediastinal cyst. The cyst is isolated from the pericardial cavity. If the pedicle communicates with the pericardial cavity, it is called a pericardial diverticulum.
