Anemia of chronic disease
Chronic disease anemia refers to the persistence of chronic infections such as tuberculosis, pulmonary abscess, inflammation such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus and inflammatory bowel disease, tumors such as breast cancer, malignant lymphoma, and surgical trauma -Anemia accompanying 2 months later is characterized by anemia of low serum iron, low total iron binding capacity, and increased storage of iron.
