Vitamin A deficiency neuropathy

Vitamin A deficiency is one of the world's four major nutritional deficiencies recognized by the World Health Organization. Vitamin A deficiency can cause nervous system damage. Severe patients may have brain retardation and myopathy, polyneuropathy or drowsiness, etc. Infant vitamin A deficiency can produce benign intracranial pressure.
