Chondroblastoma

Chondroblastomas (benign chondroblastomas) are not rare cartilage tumors of the epiphysis, which occur before the cartilage osteogenesis terminates. Most of them occur in the epiphyseal center of long bones, especially the large trochanter and large tuberculous epiphyses in other epiphyses other than osteophytes. Long bones such as the upper and lower ends of the femur and the upper and lower ends of the tibia are the most common sites. The incidence near the knee joint accounts for almost half of the total tumors. The cause of Codman, which occurred in the upper end of the humerus, was first reported, so it is also called Codman tumor.
