Tinea barbae is a superficial skin fungal disease that occurs in the roots of the mandible. The disease is distributed in many parts of the world. It is more common in Europe, America and other places. It is more common in ethnic minority areas in Xinjiang, especially in those who have close contact with agriculture and livestock.
