Diaphragmatic bulging
Diaphragmatic bulge refers to diaphragmatic muscle weakness, dysplasia, or atrophy caused by pleural peritoneal insufficiency, non-muscularization, or atrophy of the diaphragm, resulting in a thin film of fibrous membranes. The position of the diaphragm rises significantly and causes abnormal elevation of the diaphragm. Occurs mostly on the left. Occasionally, it may involve part of the diaphragm. The right anterior medial area is common, and bilateral diaphragm bulging is rare. The disease can occur at any age. Adults are common on the left and infants are common on the right. More men than women, about 2: 1.
