Renal area throbbing pain
The patient took a standing, sitting, or side-lying position. The examiner placed his left palm flat on the patient's kidney area, and fisted his right hand with a light to medium-strength punch to the back of his left hand. There was no throbbing pain in the kidney area when normal. When there is nephritis, pyelonephritis, kidney stones, and perirenal inflammation, the kidney area may have different degrees of throbbing pain.
