Bacterial corneal ulcer
Cellular corneal ulcer is a corneal purulent infection caused by pathogenic bacteria such as Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Moraxella after the corneal epithelium is damaged. Crops, nail scratches, foreign debris from iron filings, and abrasion from contact lenses are the causes of injury in recent years. Streptococcus pneumoniae in rural areas and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in the autumn and summer harvest seasons are the main pathogens.
