Pancreatic abscess
It is caused by necrotic tissue of acute pancreatitis or secondary infection of pseudocysts, which can occur in any part of the pancreas. The main pathogenic bacteria are enterobacteria. Abscess ulceration corrodes adjacent organs and can cause intestinal fistulas or bleeding.
