Solitary osteochondroma

Solitary osteochondroma is a osteophyte wart that is covered by cartilage and is a common benign bone tumor. During the bone growth period, slowly increasing painless osteophytes are almost the only clinical symptoms, and the correct diagnosis can be made by radiography alone. Its exact cause is unknown. Some people think that osteochondroma is a real tumor; others think it is a lack of developmental epiphyseal growth.
