Neck and shoulder pain
Neck and shoulder pain are divided into broad and narrow sense. Neck and shoulder pain in the broad sense mainly refers to pain in the neck and shoulders, and there are many diseases that cause pain in this area. Neck and shoulder pain in the narrow sense refers to periarthritis of the shoulder, referred to as periarthritis of shoulder, commonly known as condensed shoulder, leaked shoulder or frozen shoulder. Neck and shoulder pain is no longer used to indicate periarthritis. The onset is mostly caused by freezing, trauma, and infection in the tissues around the shoulder joints, such as the muscle bore and bursa. Many patients are caused by rheumatism. The main symptoms are persistent pain in the neck and shoulders, the affected side's upper limbs raised, rotated, and restricted back and forth swings, feeling severe pain in the wind and cold. If not treated in a timely manner, prolonged delay can cause joint adhesion, thinning of the affected upper limbs, weakness and even waste atrophy. The disease is more common in middle-aged people around the age of 50, and it also occurs in young and old people. The pain is characterized by pain in the arm, no pain or slight pain, and difficulty in combing hair, dressing, lifting and raising. When the attack is severe, the pain can be intolerable, and the person stays up all night.
