Hookworm dermatitis

Uncaria dermatitis, also known as fecal contact block, fecal poison, prurigo, is a local inflammation caused by duodenal hookworm (Ancylostoma duodenale) or American hookworm (Necator americanus) when it penetrates into the skin.
