Human herpes virus (HHV) types 6, 7 and 8 are herpes viruses discovered in the past ten years and have a wide range of clinical pathogenicity. HHV-6,7 is an important cause of acute rash and febrile seizures in young children. HHV-8 is a causative agent of Kaposi's sarcoma and is directly related to the occurrence of AIDS-related lymphatic tumors. HHV-6, 7, 8 are new viruses that seriously threaten human health.
