Pneumothorax

Pneumothorax is a pathophysiological condition caused by visceral pleura rupture without gastrointestinal trauma or human factors. Gas enters the pleural cavity and causes pleural effusion. The lung has no obvious pathological changes. Patients secondary to pleura and lung diseases such as COPD are referred to as secondary pneumothorax. According to pathophysiological changes, they are divided into three categories: closed (simple), open (traffic) and tonic (high pressure).
