Benign duodenal tumor
Benign tumors of duodenum (benign tumor of duodenum) are rarer than malignant tumors, the ratio of benign and malignant is 1: 2.6 to 1: 6.8. Although duodenal benign tumors are benign in nature, some tumors have a high tendency to malignancy, and some of them are between benign and malignant, and even difficult to identify under the microscope. In particular, the location of tumor growth is often closely related to the biliary and pancreatic drainage systems. The location is fixed, and the intestinal cavity of the duodenum is relatively narrow. Therefore, it often causes various symptoms and even life-threatening complications. Due to the special location of the duodenum, the surgical treatment of these tumors is very difficult.
