Rupture of eyeball

Rupture of the eyeball (ophthalmology) is a serious eye trauma caused by violent eyeball tissue rupture. Ruptured eyes, transparent refractive media, and sensitive retinas will be affected, and severe vision loss may occur. At the same time, intraocular hemorrhage often occurs, which affects vision. After the injury, sympathetic ophthalmia can occur, with the risk of blindness. If an intraocular infection occurs, it is difficult to maintain the original visual function even if treated in time. Therefore, the prevention and treatment of ocular trauma should be actively strengthened.
