Persistent erythema

Persistent erythema erythema (erythema elevatum diutinum) is a rare skin disease, which is characterized by persistent red, purple, and yellowish pimples, plaques, and nodules that occur on the extremities of the limbs, often symmetrically distributed. The disease is mostly caused by blood heat, exogenous wind, cold and dampness.
