Optic disc edema
Optic disc edema manifests as blurred optic disc edges, optic disc redness, and severe tortuous veins; optic nerves and surrounding blood vessels cannot be seen clearly due to high edema, and sometimes patchy bleeding or exudate plaques appear around the optic disc; late stages of optic disc edema Optic disc atrophy occurs. Optic disc edema is a common clinical sign, which is mainly caused by increased intracranial pressure, and has important clinical significance.
