Atlantoaxial dislocation

Atlantoaxial dislocation is a serious disease. Because the atlas is dislocated forward or backward and compresses the upper cervical spine, the patient may suddenly have hard paralysis due to slight head and neck injuries or excessive flexion and extension of the cervical spine. Therefore, it is necessary to have sufficient understanding of the disease clinically, timely diagnosis, and appropriate treatment.
