Human parvovirus B19 infection
The typical diseases caused by human parvovirus B19 (hereinafter referred to as B19) are infectious erythema and acute joint disease. However, the virus can cause aplastic crisis in some hematological and immunocompromised patients, and can cause fetal edema and even stillbirth in pregnant women.
