Piriformis syndrome

The disease is caused by sciatica caused by the piriformis compression of the sciatic nerve. The piriformis starts from the metatarsal surface of the patella and ends at the upper edge of the greater trochanter of the femur. When running or sitting, the piriformis can squeeze the sciatic nerve passing under it.
