Viral hepatitis in the elderly
Viral hepatitis is an infectious disease mainly caused by liver diseases caused by a variety of hepatitis viruses. It is clinically characterized by loss of appetite, nausea, upper abdominal discomfort, pain in the liver area, and fatigue. Some patients may have jaundice, fever, and hepatomegaly, with liver damage. Some patients can become chronic and even develop cirrhosis, and a few can develop liver cancer.
