Anterior tibial acupressure edema

Anterior tibial acupressure edema is one of the clinical manifestations of primary deep venous insufficiency of the lower limbs. Primary deep venous insufficiency is a new category of venous lesions first proposed by Kistner (1980). The main reason is that the free edge of the valve in the deep vein is elongated, relaxed, and sagging, so that when the blood flows back under gravity, the two opposing leaflets cannot be closely aligned in the middle of the lumen, causing deep vein reflux disease It causes congestion and high blood pressure in the venous system of the lower limbs, which leads to a series of clinical symptoms and signs.
