Zinc deficiency
Zinc is one of the essential trace elements in the human body, and as a component of various enzymes, it is widely involved in various metabolic activities. Zinc deficiency can cause anorexia, shortness, sexual maturity disorders, low immune function, rash and hair loss. In 1961, Ananda S. Prasad et al reported that "Iranian rural disease" has short stature, stunted reproductive organs, iron-deficiency liver and splenomegaly, mental retardation, and pica. Zinc treatment has a good effect. Since then, similar cases have been found in Egypt. Developed countries have successively reported reports of zinc nutritional deficiencies that have been experimentally confirmed, and have found that zinc has a specific effect on the treatment of enteric acrodermatitis. Since the end of the 1970s, there have been a large number of reports about zinc deficiency in various parts of the country, with children being more common.
