Renal interstitial fibrosis

Renal sclerosis includes arterial renal sclerosis due to renal atherosclerosis, and benign and malignant renal sclerosis due to hypertension. Renal atherosclerosis is part of systemic atherosclerosis and is more common in the elderly with or without hypertension.
