Neonatal hypocalcemia

Neonatal serum total calcium 2.0mmol / L (8mg / dl) or serum ion calcium 0.9mmol / L (3.6mg / dl) is called hypocalcemia. Neonates are prone to hypocalcemia, which is one of the important causes of neonatal seizures.
