Pregnancy with erythrocytosis
Polycythaemia refers to the number of red blood cells, hemoglobin and hematocrit in a unit volume of peripheral blood is higher than normal, and does not include the number of white blood cells and platelets. In the past, it was called polycythemia abroad, and its practical meaning was pancytosis, including an increase in the number of white blood cells and platelets. The correct English name should be erythrocytosis. Polycythemia is a group of symptoms. Anyone who can increase red blood cells for any reason belongs to this disease. Like anemia, it is not a diagnostic disease name. Pregnancy with erythrocytosis is mainly seen in relative erythrocytosis.
