Pineal tumor

Intrinsic was proposed by Pellizzi in 1972, also known as precocious puberty syndrome, precocious genital megalodrome syndrome. Refers to increased secretion of gonadotropins and sex hormones caused by pineal tumors (the pineal gland's secretory function has an antagonistic effect on the pituitary gland). Common tumors are pineoblastoma, pineal somatoma, glioblastoma, teratoma, germ cell tumor, seminoma, astrocytoma, ectopic pineoma. It accounts for less than 1% of intracranial tumors and is more common in boys.
