Lobular cystic sarcoma of the breast
Breast phylloid cystosarcoma (cystosarcoma phylloides) is a fibrous tissue malignant transformation of breast fibroma tissue, is a mixture of epithelial components and connective tissue malignant tumors. Pathological examination revealed a mixture of benign epithelial tissue and malignant sarcoma. The disease was first reported by Muller in 1938 and is considered a benign tumor. Later, some scholars found that the disease was not completely benign according to the degree of cell differentiation and clinical findings, so they were divided into benign and malignant types, and dozens of synonymous terms appeared. In 1982, WHO renamed the tumor as a phyllodes tumor of the breast according to the histological classification principle, and classified it into three categories: benign, borderline, and malignant.
