Local scleroderma

As the name suggests, scleroderma is a disease where the skin becomes hard. The general classification is that the lesion is limited to the skin and the internal organs are not affected. It is called localized scleroderma. It is located at one end of the disease spectrum and diffuse scleroderma in systematic sclerosis Extensive skin lesions with multiple organ involvement are at the other end of the spectrum. Between the poles, there are some intermediate types, such as generalized scleroderma in localization, acral scleroderma in systemic, and CREST syndrome.
