Senile epilepsy
Adult-onset epilepsy is called late-onset epilepsy. Clinically, 20 years old is often chosen as the starting point of their age, and those with epilepsy over 60 years old are referred to as elderly late-onset epilepsy or senile epilepsy. Epilepsy in the elderly is mostly secondary, and its etiology, diagnosis, and treatment are different from those of other age groups, and have their own characteristics.
