Patella instability
Unstable patella is a common cause of anterior knee pain, a common disease of the patellofemoral joint, and an important cause of patellar cartilage softening or patellofemoral osteoarthritis. Advances in biomechanics and imaging technology, as well as the diversification of clinical detection methods, have gradually realized that degenerative changes of the patellofemoral joint are mostly caused by patellar instability caused by poor fit of the patellofemoral joint or improper line of patella force, such as Metatarsal offset, metatarsal tilt, metatarsal elevation, metatarsal subluxation, etc.
