Vulvar epidermoid cyst

Vulvar epidermoid cysts are more common in the labia majora and perineum, and occur in the deep tissues of the vulvar skin or mucosal epidermis. Cysts are solitary or multiple. But it is often misdiagnosed as a sebaceous gland cyst. In fact, sebaceous gland cysts of the vulva are rare, and most are epidermal cysts, whose contents are keratin. Vulvar epidermoid cysts are more common vulvar cysts and most often occur in middle-aged women. Slow growth, usually without special symptoms.
