Umbilical knot

There are two types of umbilical cord knots: fake knots and true knots. Umbilical cord pseudoknot refers to the umbilical cord is longer than the umbilical cord, the blood vessel curls like a knot, or the umbilical vein is longer than the umbilical artery tortuous knot. Generally no major harm in clinical. Rarely bleeds due to ruptured blood vessels. The true knot of the umbilical cord is relatively rare. It is caused by the umbilical cord being too long in the early pregnancy (3 ~ 4 months).
