Gallbladder cholesterolosis

Cholesterolosis of gallbladder is a special type of chronic cholecystitis. Because the gallbladder mucosal epithelial cells deposit a large amount of cholesterol ester particles in the basement membrane, forming many small yellow nodules that look like strawberries, also called strawberry gallbladder.
