Extracellular cholesterol deposit syndrome
Extracellular cholesterosis syndrome refers to a series of clinical symptoms in which the back of the hands, feet, and limbs are purple-red, and the center is a brown-yellow plaque nodule. Histological examination of this disease shows extracellular cholesterolosis, hence the name extracellular cholesterolosis. At present, this disease is considered to be the same disease as persistent erythema, and it is a chronic vasculitis lesion. The disease is also known as extracellular cholesterosis or Urbach syndrome, and was first reported by Urbach in 1932.
