Total lipodystrophy, also known as atrophic diabetes or Lawrence-Seip syndrome, is congenital or acquired fat atrophy. Mainly manifested by atrophy of subcutaneous fat and visceral fat in the whole body, with visceral diseases or certain congenital malformations, hairy skin, black echinoderm-like damage, and whole body can be associated with liver enlargement, accelerated bone development, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, etc.
