Periampullary carcinoma

Vater ampulla carcinoma (VPC) refers to the ampullary carcinoma of Vettel, the ampulla of Vettel, the lower end of the common bile duct, the opening of the pancreatic duct, the duodenal papilla and the duodenal mucosa nearby Cancers in other places. These tumors from different origins have the same clinical manifestations because of the special anatomical part in which they are located. It is also difficult to separate them completely during surgery, so they are often referred to as a type of periampullary cancer.
