Congenital rectal and anal deformity

Congenital malformations of the rectum and anus are very common, and there are many types, and the positions of the blind rectum and fistula are different. Its incidence in newborns is 1: 1500 to 5000, accounting for the first place in gastrointestinal malformations. There are more men than women, with about 50% of high malformations in men and 20% in women. The incidence of various fistulas is 90% in women and 70% in men. Combined with other congenital malformations, the incidence is about 30-50%, and often multiple malformations. Those with family history are rare, only 1%. It is hereditary, but the method of inheritance is inconclusive.
