Amoebiasis
Entamoeba amoeba (dysentery amoeba) (entamoeba ihstolytica Schaudinn, 1930) is mainly parasitic in the colon, causing amoebic dysentery or amebic colitis. Dysentery amoeba is also the most important pathogenic species in the Rhizopoda class. Under certain conditions, it can spread to the liver, lung, brain, urogenital system and other parts, forming ulcers and abscesses.
