Pancreatic pseudocyst
Pancreatic pseudocyst of the pancreas is formed on the basis of pancreatic parenchyma or pancreatic duct rupture caused by pancreatitis, pancreatic necrosis, trauma, and proximal obstruction of the pancreatic duct. It is formed by the leakage of pancreatic juice, blood and necrotic tissue. Cyst, the wall of which is composed of granulation tissue or fibrous tissue, without an epithelial cell lining.
