Down syndrome in children
Down's syndrome, trisomy 21 syndrome, also known as congenital ignorance or Down syndrome, is a disease caused by a chromosomal abnormality (an additional chromosome 21). 60% of the children died of abortion early in the fetus. Survivors had obvious mental retardation, special facial features, growth and development disorders, and multiple deformities.
