Indistinguishable red and green colors
Symptoms of alcoholic amblyopia are central dark spots in the binocular visual field, which are mostly symmetrical, and red and green are more prominent than dark spots in the white visual field. The peripheral visual field is usually not affected, and patients cannot distinguish between red and green colors.
