Patellofemoral joint pain

The causes of patellofemoral joint pain are: congenital hypertarsal bone disease, patella cartilage fibrosis, hamstring tension, Achilles tendon tension, tension of lateral femoral muscle, iliac muscle bundle and lateral support ligament, medial femoral muscle atrophy and Q Angle (the angle between the sacroiliac ligament and the longitudinal axis of the thigh)> 15deg ;. When the calf is rotated internally, the medial femoral muscle pulls the patella inward, while the remaining three muscles pull outward. The most common reason is that after excessive internal rotation, the sacrum is pulled outward and hits the femoral condyle.
