Influenza
Influenza (influenza for short) is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by influenza virus, and it is also a highly infectious and fast-transmitting disease. The pathogens are type A, B, and C influenza viruses, which are transmitted through droplets and usually have the following typical symptoms: sudden and rapid fever, fatigue, muscle aches and mild respiratory symptoms, short duration, and self-limiting Middle-aged people and patients with chronic respiratory disease or heart disease are prone to pneumonia. The most significant epidemiological characteristics of influenza are: sudden outbreak, rapid spread, wide spread, and a certain seasonality (the epidemic in the northern part of China generally occurs in winter, while the southern part mostly occurs in summer and winter). The recently circulating type B influenza is a type of influenza. Compared with the other two strains, there is little variation and the possibility of epidemic is low. Influenza type B has been prevalent during the spring-summer alternation in May and June, and the symptoms are not obvious. The epidemic broke out after entering winter this year, which is a special phenomenon. November-December surveillance showed that 89% of influenza in Guangdong was type B influenza. There are two virus strains of influenza B. The Victoria strain was common in the past. It is also the vaccine virus strain recommended by the World Health Organization this year. However, the current type of influenza B is fewer than the Yamagata strain. . Students should pay attention to personal hygiene, wash their hands frequently, and open the windows for ventilation. Once they find flu symptoms such as fever, cough, and sore body, they should go to the hospital for treatment in time.
