Tetracycline Teeth

Tetracycline is an antibiotic synthesized by chlortetracycline for dehalogenation and has low toxicity. It has been used clinically since 1948. In 1950, foreign countries reported that tetracycline drugs caused tooth staining; afterwards, tetracycline was reported to be deposited on teeth, bones, and even nails, and it could also cause enamel hypoplasia. In this regard, domestic attention has been drawn until the mid-1970s.
